My grandboys have given pet names to all of the vehicles in the family.

For example: Patty the PathFinder, Freddie the Frontier, Tammy the TrailBlazer, Sammy the S-10, and Earwig for the Expedition. (I had to look up that last one)!

Does your family have any pet names for your vehicles? :)

Wife and daughter name everything … Tahoe is Pearl (paint) and Rubicon is Ruby …
(I just say Jeep and something short for Tahoe) 😷

Pilot- Family Truckster
Accord- Nothing other than The Accord
Mustang- Pony
Ranger- Bubba The Truck (Along with its three predecessors)

My 300ZX is either "Trusty" or "Faithfull" because it has never broken down, left me stranded, or needed a repair. (y)

Most of our vehicles have had "names" although they are not usually called by them, except for a couple vehicles that were usually called by that name. Makes sense if you don't think about it.

Ford Edge is the wife's, it's name is Pearl (color) and it is actually referred to by her quite frequently that way, I usually call it "the Ford".
My Passat is named "Wolfgang".
We had a Lumina for 14 years named "Marcy" by my daughter and it was often called if not usually called that. That car lived so long and was so faithful to us it took on a personality of it's own a name was fitting. It survived no less than 5 teen drivers and being stolen.
My Jeep of 7 years was named "James", that's the one that inspired my handle here being my third Jeep.

Perry M because our vehicle is smart and gets us out of trouble.
Grello because the Grello cars kick the crap out of all other cars.:)

I don't name my cars but the wife named her 2002 F250 Betsy and her 2018 F350 is named Bertha.

When I was a kid my dads old Chevy that he took the whole family around in was called "Old Put-Put".

For the last several years of the life of my Olds 1985 Olds 88 coupe, it was referred to as " The Green Monster".

My i3 is Bruce because it sports a shark fin antennae on the roof. "Fish are friends, not food!"

The best car name ever would be Rusty. Maybe Dark Knight for a black vehicle.
