I know the recommended NAG1 replacement is Mopar AFT+4, but across the ditch in Australia here it is horrendously expensive. After some research I found the Valvoline site that outlines their product is "Officially licensed and Chrysler approved"

My Jeep is out of warranty but over here the service manuals point out that the only equivalent products are those supplied by Mopar.

I'm certain Mopar doesn't refines oil, so they must be using a re-badge oil.

Can anybody confirm the official licensing.

You can't get the Castrol ATF +4?

It is licensed oil, you can use it in your car. It works exactly the same way the MOPAR branded stuff does.

I have used it, never had a problem with it.
