N.Korea Has Bought Complete Nuclear Bomb

N. Korea and Iran are both cruising for a bruising. N. Korea will sell weapons to terrorists (e.g. Al-Qaeda). You can see where that is heading. Iran will make a first strike on Israel, and that timeline won't be allowed to progress for much longer.

This could be another 4 years of tough decisions and a further commitment of lives to maintain our freedoms. Auschwitz provided a nice timely reminder this week of how important it is to confront evil and prevent its spread.

The ultimate irony is about to happen in the next few days. A larger percentage of Iraqi citizens will go out to vote than did so in our 2004 elections. As we fight for freedom in Iraq, there are those at home that don't value it here.

Yea Madalin Not-so-Bright and Clinton pretty much left them develop their nuclear weapons from 1992-2000.

Sadam was our best friend over their.

He killed more fanatical muslims then we did.

So what do we do? Remove him.

Should have gone after Iran all along. The Iranian leadership is radical. Sadam was a conservative and even had a christian in his government. We must make sure Iraq prevails. We also might need them to launch an attack on Iran at some point. I mean you know, money grows on trees in the Bush mindset. A few billion for this, a few billion for that....sure why not. Just pass all this debt on to future generations.

Seems nothing was developed in the 92-00 time span. If Reuters is correct, they had to buy from another source only after our attention was diverted elsewhere. Safe to start up the reactors again to copy Pakistani or Russian technology now that the US has its hands tied......

After all this time, why would communist China do that to the PRK whom they bailed out the last time we nearly squashed them? China is more likely to sell off some dollars from their central bank to cut US protection of Taiwan. Get that rebel province back in line.

I'm not sure going after Iran in that way would have been the best thing to do. I think that in the 2000-01 time frame they were ripe for engagement.

They had a democratically bent, popular president pushing the nation toward democracy. The clerics still ran the show but we had a chance that we lost. Keep in mind Iran was the only Islamic country that had massive popular outpourings of support for the US following Sept 11th.

As soon as Bush (whom I supported at the time) named Iran as a member of the 'Axis of Evil" I cried Dohhhhh! First nail in the coffin for me.

Fast forward to 2005.

Why would Iran want nukUlar weapons? Could it be that we occupy nations on two of their borders? How would we feel if Russia was currently in Mexico and Canada? They feel they have the right to persue WMD. The same ones we have. We can get them to stop if we treat them with the same dignity we would expect.
