Yes, the sticker clearly said 8650, but as was explained to you in that thread, that number was clearly too high to be your GVWR. I said that on the first page before the thread ever went south. I was trying to help you by providing you with accurate numbers from the brochure so you wouldn't damage your truck or hurt yourself or someone else.
You're still pointing the finger at everyone else by saying "people always seem to want to argue with me." I wasn't trying to argue with you when you started that thread, I was trying to point you to an accurate GVWR when you asked for it. I probably should have just let the misinformation go and never responded in the first place, but I gave the benefit of the doubt that maybe it wouldn't be another pointless thread.
I should not have stooped to the level of personal attacks, but frankly it is very frustrating to argue facts with a brick wall. Your threads devolve into arguments because you aren't receptive to the advice you get.
I think if you would lighten up, look at things objectively, and be receptive to what people have to say you will get a lot more out of this board. That doesn't mean you have to agree with everything everyone else says, but at least give it an objective look instead of throwing information aside. Having differences of opinion on a public forum is normal and it doesn't have to turn into an argument. The fact that it is mostly your own threads that go that way seems to indicate it's not just everyone else. I disagree with other members all the time, so does everyone else, but in most cases it does not turn into mudslinging contest. I wouldn't have been on this forum for six years if every thread ended up like the GVWR thread.
I'm all for respectful discussions, but like I said that's a two way street and you have made threads like this before. It's going to take some changes and effort on your part if you want to have constructive discussions here and get the most out of this board.
