My 4.3 is still ticking on passenger side towards cab. I think its #4 or 6 lifter. I have changed oil with Plus50II 15W40 with 1qt of MMO and half a can of seafoam. I have driven it about 200 miles. How long until i hear a difference, if I'm going to?

It depends on what's making the ticking. Are you sure it's a lifter tick?
Thats what i think it is. I sounds just like it. Its not a leaking exhaust manifold, just changed plugs and still does it. It increases with rpm. However i cant hear it inside the truck. Just when i am by the front right wheel well.
Could very well be a lifter, keep running your mix.

I want to see if MY truck still ticks after I find out if I have oil pressure or not.

I've seen engines with 200,000 miles on them that do a lot of work and have had a tick for as long as the owner has had it.

adjust your lifters and your tick will most likely be gone.
Some have had good results with Kreen. I'd try that. On the other hand, I would not adjust the lifter(s) to get rid of a tick. What happens if there is some trash in the lifter that breaks loose after you have adjusted it? High potential for a burned valve.
My 200K+ '94 Sub ticked for the 1st 3 years I had it, until I gave it to my brother & he flogged it mercilessly (skipping oil changes, running it low on oil, etc.)-lifter tick magically gone!

why would trash break loose? That makes no sense. Also valves burn from being too tight and spending too much time being open.

How are you driving the vehicle. Maybe an Italian tune up for a a short while on a freeway or something daily for a week might help.
And its only been 200 miles. If the lifter has gunge in it causing the tick its gonna take a while to dissolve. Run the oil change interval out then make a judgement call

Just for giggles you should try something like Mobil 1 0W-40 or Kendall GT 1 Full Synthetic 5W-40
