Roofless wrote the book on traveling tool storage but here is my travelling tool set up. I’m in Calgary, and will be spending a few days at U Wrench.

U Wrench? Is that like one of those shops where you can rent a bay for a day and work on your car? If so that’s cool we need one of those in my area.

Yes, it’s $35 CDN per hour. They set your vehicle up on a hoist then allow you to operate the hoist while you work. These are very rare. We discussed this on a forum and most posters mentioned it wouldn’t work well in the USA due to liability laws.

Oh ok interesting I didn’t know that.
 
Nice setup. I’m assuming the box is too large to fit above the seats in an (unlikely) bad accident? Wouldn’t want a few hundred pounds of unsecured steel flopping around the cabin.
