My mechanic installed FCS front struts, trouble?

The only quick struts worth buying are Monroe, KYB, Gabriel, and Sachs.

The only time I'd use cheap Chinese quick struts is if they were the only option for a given car. But since Monroe is available for your car, it means you do have at least one good option.

Quoting brand X and installing brand Y is a bit shady. That being said , I installed FCS struts on all corners of my grand prix two years ago and all is well.

I still have the factory original struts in my Rav4....

And they have probably been trash for 250,000 miles!

They ride fine to me, my wife doesn't complain, and the tires last a long time.
