My favorite wax?

All I've ever used on both of my vehicles is The Wax Shop Liquid Wax in the cream colored bottle. It's worked well for 14 years of blistering Arizona sun. I reciently started useing Eagle One, Wax As You Dry after each wash. I've found it gives good results also between wax jobs. Bill T.

I have used Liquid Glass for many years and have had wonderful results. I am asked a lot about the shine on my vehicles. This stuff really last.

Meguiars gold class liquid seems to be about the best I've tried lately in getting a great shine on a variety of different surfaces. I'm trying to narrow down to one brand for all my different cars and this is the only one out there that gives me a consistently deep gloss on all my vehicles.

Before this my favorite was the Simoniz paste wax, I still haven't found anything equal to it in terms of durability and glow. I don't know if they still manufacture it but I haven't seen it anywhere in several years. The liquid Simoniz is garbage, like 10 year old Kit wax or something.

I've always had bad luck with Turtle wax products. They're hard to put on, hard getting off and look splotchy and smeared when all's said and done.

Mother's makes decent wax and zymol is excellent on neglected surfaces, although I think it's a bit overpriced.

I'm a big Zaino fan, have been for years now. Did a double dose on my Regal last fall and it still was working come March, after a full Michigan winter. I did try some of Mother's FX this past weekend on my son's pickup and it really shined up nice. It had a nice smell to it,

deep shine and it came off fairly easy. Similar properties to Zaino. I'm going to put 3-4 coates on my Regal this fall and see how it holds up this winter. I paid $10 on sale at Pep Boys for it fwiw.

My favorite wax? Of the ones I've tried, the Klasse "twins" (All-In-One Polish followed by High Gloss Sealant) are my favorite for the combination of durability and shine.

Meguiar's No-26 Hi-Tech Yellow wax is my favorite due to the mix of real and synthetics, durability, ease of application, and the fact that it does not dry white whatsoever. Klasse makes some superb products as well although my favorite polish has been Meguiar's Machine Glaze.

: This is a good thread since there are millions of car waxes. I too tried the Meguiars #6 not 7 & #26. I think I may have left the #26 on too long cause the wheel had a hard time removing the wax. So I waited about 3 weeks and did the hood roof and trunk by hand with #26 again and wow what a shine. I will test the stuff for a month and see how it compared to the non wax type products like Zanio. There are so many other good products like Klasse that are hard to find too.

As has been previously posted, if your vehicle isn't a garage queen NuFinish seems to do as well or better than Zaino.

I use P21S over Klasse Sealant Glaze over Klasse All-In-One.

This combo must be seen to be believed. Shine and depth, simply increadable!

so far: Four Stars Ultimate Paint Protection and Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra Gloss. Still have Poorboy's World Natty's paste wax to try, it might become my favorite natural wax.

Glad to see a couple people here have tried Duragloss - been my best sealant for years now. I have yet to try Zaino - sounds promising. I liked what I saw with NXT, but didn't do a controlled test to accurately judge longevity, but I do recommend it to my neighbors. Wasn't overly impressed with Klasse - didn't match the gloss depth of Duragloss. Paid $$$ for the Pinnacle waxes - nice result after your done, but already loosing color depth after 2 weeks.

My next test this Spring will be the new synthetic sealant from Richard Griot - he was never a fan of polymers until last year. His other carnuba based products are very good, but I'll admit my bias that I am not a great fan of them *carnuba) due to their short protection duration, especially in the more southern climate of NC. Anyway, I was told his new polymer has the color enhancement capability of the waxes with the durability of the polymers - we'll see!

I would like to note that it is very benificial to use a cleaner type of product-AIO or ColorX as the base for your razzle dazzle wax.

Done 3 or 4 times a year, the paint will be clean, the wax will last longer, and the fininsh will look amazing.
