2008 Caravan with the 3.3L. I hadn't bothered to check the dipstick since changing the oil about 10k miles ago.
3 quarts AMS oil grp IV, the rest in Castrol Syntec (all 5w-30) at OCI. There was just a dribble of oil on the tip. Oops...
(Figure about 90% highway miles...)
Ended up topping it up with whatever was left in the jug of Syntec, plus a quart of random 5w-30 dino I had kicking around. I'll do an OCI in about a month, already have the new oil (Pennzoil 5w30 syn), plus the Fram Ultra Guard Synthetic (or whatever it's called - was on sale). Keeping an eye out to determine if oil is thinning out, we have an oil burner, or the PCV valve needs replacing. Thinking 1 and 2, hope not 3.
This is the wife's van that we got for a steal, so I'm hardly ever motivated to put money in it, although it only has about 80k miles.
