Not in the picture is the recently purchased MC. Somehow, the less motor oil I have, the better I feel now. Priorities change.

Well. if you're looking for backers to your new thread and oil choices, don;t read my post any further. Just skip right over it.

If not...... My priorities change would be to return the Supertech and stay with the brands in both your engines - shown in your signature.
Only thing I would question is the 0W20 in your Sportage 2.4. I'm a thickie, so 5w30 would be my choice, especially inside of Florida.

First weight to return would be your non-Dexos 5w20. That'll go bye-bye to the Wally's Return Customer Service Counter quickly.

I don't understand the stash of Supertech?
Unless you get a really good deal on it, I would let the store stock it (this coming from someone with over 28 gallons of oil in the garage).

And am I the only one that when I look quicky at the bottles sees 15w-20? I noticed it when in the store today as well.

that SAE written sideways next to the 5 just looks like a 1 (or even a 3).

Yeah, I don't really understand it either, they don't really go on sale although I assume they probably go up and down a dollar or two like everything else at Walmart once in a while.

I still have a stash of Castrol 0w40, but I got those when they were $10 for a 5 quart jug in the Autozone clearance a few years back.

When the new jug design came out for $15, I didn't know how long it would last at that price. But I understand the sentiment . Incidentally, the 5w20 ST is SN PLUS, but not d1G2 where the 5w30 is both.

The yellow jug is Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30.

I've given away much more than I keep, lol.

I used to do it for a few veterans up to about 6 months ago. Two have since passed on and the others don't or cannot drive anymore. All were rather salty SOB but that just made our bond that much greater. The birth of my son slowed all that down.

Heck yeah, I just ordered two jugs of PUP 5W30 for my new Impreza. I put in some PPHM right now until I can address the leaking spark plug tube o-rings, but I had phenomenal results with PUP 5W20 in my Fusion. Oil was good to 15k+ and was running below 1ppm Fe/1k. I still have 6 jugs of the 5W20 I now have nothing to put it in

I'm thinking I'll purchase two more jugs of Pennzoil to fill my 4 jug rebate for 2019 since I don't really trust that our double secret Pennzoil rebate will still be available all year. As for Supertech, here is a copy of the back of the jug. The specs are there. Boutique boys need not apply.

Thank you for your support and yeah it's better to be with newborn son.

We should all serve or extend a helping hand from time to time. It kinda runs in our family.
Both my elder brothers served (one as a Marine and now a retired Cop, the other is retired AirForce), one in the middle east during the first war in Iraq. My Sister was in the AirForce for a while too. I got a scholarship to university but became a police officer for 10 years after school. Duty has a strong calling for many who serve in one capacity or another.
