Well, since I posted my latest Used Oil Analysis yesterday, I figure I might as well post my Used Blood Analysis today.
Cholesterol = 144 mg/dL
HDL Cholesterol = 43 mg/dL
Cholesterol HDL ratio = 3.3 NA
LDL (calculated) = 92 mg/dL
Triglycerides = 43 mg/dL
Glucose fasting = 94 mg/dL
==============================
Doctor's recommendations: "Cholesterol and glucose levels look great. No treatment needed."
Built_Well's notes:
I guess I should say I'm 42 years old, 5-foot 8-inches tall, 125 pounds.
Lately I've been jogging 4 or 5 times a week, although I've gone long stretches with much less exercise. Since about 1986, I've been eating 3 grams of Vitamin C powder a day (pure ascorbic acid powder dissolved in water). I take half the total (1.5 grams) in the morning after waking up, and the other half 5 or 6 hours later. Been doing this since about 1986, after reading double Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling's book "How to Live Longer and Feel Better."
I get my Vitamin C powder (a.k.a. ascorbic acid powder) cheap and by mail order from "Beyond A Century" in Maine.
