Buster, is the Focus tranny a manual tranny that takes ATF fluid as most Ford manual trannies do? If so I suggest MolaKules SynchroGlide manual tranny fluid. It's worked wonders with my manual tranny in my F-150 that's spec'd for ATF. I'm also going to try it in my 1996 Contour 5 speed manual tranny that specs ATF. Right now I have Ford's synthetic special gold tranny fluid that costs about $20+++ per quart

. It shifts ok, but if Mola's SynchroGlide works at less than $10/quqrt so much the better
