Again,
Michael posting for msparks.

Looks a little like a Chevy from the side shot, but front is much nicer. Like the white. I have a white 93 Sentra with 174,000 and still running strong.

I hope nobody takes this personal, but I feel the need to quote an old Chevy commercial. "Don't you buy no ugly truck!"

In th last 20 years, pick-up trucks have gone from simple to stylish to downright ugly. I much prefered the looks of the late 80's / early 90's Nissan Hardbody.

Nice looking!

Love the simple window crank levers!

Did it come with Cruise?

Get a shot of the engine and speedo/tack cluster. Need to see Gauges...

I think it's a keeper. Please keep us informed on how you like it and MPG and such.

Enjoy! Bill

Actually from the front you can hardly tell the difference between it and the Titan.

I agree the older syled trucks are much nicer. Give me a late 70's Ford Ranger with the little locking tool boxes. I always wanted one of those

No cruise but I can add it and think I will sometime soon,

Crank levers rock. My ford power motors had to be replaced after about 2 years.

I'll try to get a pic of the engine and instrument panel for you. Both are very plain.

I think it's a keeper too. I'm happy with it so far. Will be filling her up today so will keep the fingers crossed on MPG.

My preliminary estimate of your fuel economy:

350 miles

assuming 19 gallons (21 gallon tank, 2 gallon reserve I'm guessing).

19/4=4.75
4.75*3=14.25

350/14.25= 24.56MPG

24.56MPG isn't bad for 70MPH Highway driving while break-in.

Sometimes I wish I had kept my 99 KA24 powered white nissan Frontier(it was paid off!

. Very comfortable small trucks, just hard to gfind 4x4 nissans in my area.

On this photo I was taking off the dealer sticker.

The Dealership is Hippodrome Nissan.

I got to the D and said hey I can leave the DR and the Nissan. Then it will Be DR as in Doctor Nissan. LOL

I thought that was cool.

Mike,
I guess I was way off. I thought that all of your driving was on the highway. But with 25% highway driving and 75% city driving, on a truck that has just over 400 miles on it, 22.8MPG is unbelievable.

Michael

I've become a big fan of Nissans since owning 2 of them. Both of mine have over 100K (my Z has 127K) and are going strong.

That is one sweet truck!!!

Congratulations on your purchase of such a fine truck.

Does your Fronty have the square-socket drain plugs on the tranny and diff?

I love that feature with my Hardbody... no filters/pans/gaskets/covers/sealants to mess with... and no excuse for not changing the fluid regularly.

Does the manual still spec a GF-4 fluid for the transmission? This is one of the less appealing features on my '94.

Is the oil filter bypass still built into the engine block?

How hard is the oil filter to get to?

We're BITOGers... forget the looks... we need to know the IMPORTANT stuff.

Looks like mine, except yours is much cleaner.

Does this truck have the Auto or 5-speed?

Also Mike, do you have the 2-piece axle with center bearing?
