Just changed the oil on my dad’s friends 2014 f150 3.5 so I came home and cut open the filter…bad news bears for that ecoboost. The filter used was the MSL57502. Filter looked great otherwise

I assume he’s a Mobil 1 5w30 guy. The oil filter that went back on was a K&N HP-2011. I don’t recall the exact mileage but I do know it’s over 100k

Talked with the owner of the truck and he said, “I’m 70 I could care less lol, at least the filter is catching it”
