I bought a used Craftsman pressure washer with engine and frame for $35 I think. Nothing else. And I have a new AR pump I have had on the shelf for 10 years. Engine runs great.

Horizontal shaft. Standard 4 hole mounting. 5/16 fine thread.

The way the pump housing is cast the only thing I can use is a cap bolt for an Allen wrench. Not even room for a standard split lock washer.

Do they sell lock washers where the outside diameter is the same diameter as that of the head of a cap bolt?

Or Locktite?

Or keep my eye on the bolts?

loctite seems easy mode if you cant find something at ace.

Cat pump sells a 10ml locitite for only 1000% markup so I dont see an issue with using regular loctite.

So they are called high-hat split ring lock washers. Nothing local I could find.

Bolt Depot had them for $0.11 each plus $4 in shipping. While $4.50 seems high for 4 washers, it probably the same as some Locktite or gas used to find them locally if I even could.

The local ACE Hardware store than has tons of nuts & bolts in the usual drawers did not have these.

Bolt Depot did not require me to buy a bag of 50.

Finished pressure washer.
