My old R60/6 BMW. About 124,000miles and still runn'n Smooth!

Blue Goose that Road King makes me want a burger and fries and a malt. I think I'll go listen to some fifties music!

She's gorgeous. I know it is a modern bike tho something about it set my mind on a retro day dream...must have been a chrome sparkle!

Didn't you used to ride a cafe racer?

Lol yeah she is awesome

I've gone from a Ninja 250 to a CBR 600 F4i to the VTX1300 and now to my nirvana, the Road King!

Hardest part right now is knowing that the 60 degree temps tomorrow are just a fluke for November so gotta get a TON of riding in tomorrow lol

Thanks for the kind words

Goose

Love, love, love the KZ1000s. Especially the shaft. I've wanted a nice KZ for years but can't seem to find anything but the LTDs, CSRs, and hideous Spectres. I'll just keep looking and hope to find something close to your KZ1000s.

Nice Kawis. I had an H2 just like that only mine was brown. Very fast bike, the 750cc two stroke triple was.

Nice shot of a nice looking bike. I'd bet I'd like owning a bike like that. Does it cost more to maintain than a Kawasaki?

What kind of bags you have mounted on your Sporty? Did you fab that yourself? Looks very functional.

Something I don't like about HD is their bags. Good looking, but not that functional. BTW, I ride an FLHX.

Not much to it...it is all Iron and Wire! No fancy electronics of any kind. I did reseal the motor from front to rear a few years ago but oil seals are not meant to last 30+ years. I just need a carb float or gasket every year or two and set of points/plugs every 10,000 miles.

Since I'll be using Redline Racing oils in all three holes, and possibly some Mobil 1 20W-50 Twin in my engine, I thought I'd post these pics of the new 2011 Harley Road King Classic 103 that is at the dealer, being prepared and when the weather breaks, will be trailered to the house.

Here are the pics the dealership took yesterday:

I hope after the trailering, you get out and ride. A bike that nice should not spend it's life trailered from one place to another.. :-)
