Hello. I have a Lincoln Corsair 2020 2.3L, transmission 8F40 (as bad as 6/8F35). The mileage is about 20k miles. I plan to do a partial ATF change. Now I'm considering OEM Motorcraft ULV and VALVOLINE Ultra Low Viscosity Automatic Transmission Fluid. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any reviews on this ATF in Ford transmissions (6/8F35/40). I saw one video where the overall +- indicators were the same. Sometimes, the transmission can shift with a jerk (this is normal for it, despite its mileage). What would you recommend to me? Also, I can make several partial replacements during a low mileage.

You'll be fine, with either brand. I would use the one that is most readily available to you. Good job keeping up with the service. A drain and fill every 30k miles is probably sufficient and better than most other cars will ever see.

Both of them are readily available to me... :) And the price is the same (ok, Valvoline costs 30-40 cents more). It's just that I've repeatedly read comments about Valvoline, where it started shifting gears smoother and better, and I wonder if this will help in the case of Ford and its “wonderful” transmission.

I've used both in my 10R80. Both have been fine. I'll use the Valvoline when Napa runs a sale on it, and Motorcraft when they don't.

18$ on Napa vs 6$ on Rockauto, why don't use Rockauto?)
When NAPA runs a sale is is $6.49 and it is shipped free or I can pick it up local. That's why.

Actually, you just reminded me to look. On sale at NAPA, YMMV.
