Exactly.

They are a decent filter built to Ford's specs. If you want the details, probably best to phone Ford.
 
As was said, they're 100% assured to meet Ford's OEM performance specifications as an OEM aftermarket filter.


I've never seen a source for the particulars on them.
 
Ive seen particulars posted for the new FL-820S here before. However the OP didnt specify which particular Motorcraft oil filter he was inquiring about. So I did not bother to locate it.
 
In particular I was thinking of the FL1A, the FL820S, and if there is an equivalent to the PL14610. For a variety of different vehicles. I wonder why they keep the specs. to themselves? They appear to be pretty good filters, especially for the price, from what I've read on here.
