Motorcraft G-05

Motorcraft's G-05 coolant is the "gold" stuff, right? My dad works in parts at the Ford dealership, and I figure he can get G-05 for my Dodge cheapest. He said that they have three different kinds, though- green, orange, and gold. I think green is the old fashioned stuff, orange is dex-cool, and gold is G-05, but just want to be sure I get the right stuff.

Yes the Ford Premium Gold is G-05. It is kind of a lite yellow color after it is mixed with water (hopefully distilled). The Dodge version of G-05 is orange/red. The John Deere version is John Deere Green, lol.

After flushing and filling my Ranger PU with GO5, I decided it was too hard to see in the overflow bottle. My wife had some old food coloring dye so I put in 10 drops of red. Overflow bottle now is an attractive shade of pink and easy to check.

The Dodge G-05 is already that color.
