This came off my 2010 Crown Vic police interceptor. 139700 mi on the car, approx 5000 on the oil. Looks pretty good to me. I’m always worried about the louvers but now that I’ve been cutting them open they have all been wide open.

Out: Havoline HM 5w-30
In: K&N 5w-30 & K&N HP1002 filter

That looks like a successful run to me. Even the pleats don't look loaded very much. I was always under the assumption that the police removed all the go fast stuff before sending them to auction. Unless it's an active police car? Just curious. Thanks

The only difference is the police models get is oil and trans coolers, a bigger radiator, dual exhaust and different gear ratios and shift strategy. No go fast parts, no special tune.

Good to know, I though they might of gotten a tune too but didn't know. Thanks for that info.

Looks very good at 5k miles. Great pics of the louvers, always good to show them with the media removed. Nice job.

Before they more than doubled in price; 910S was a great OPE filter choice.

Thanks for c&p.

Thats interesting. Such a small filter on such a large engine.
Ford obviously knows it still "flows" well enough, meaning the dP vs flow performance is still adequate (with the PD pump) even though it's a relatively small filter. Trying to guesstimate fluid flow is pretty difficult. It needs to be calculated (if possible) or measured. It probably has more media area than one would think.

Fwiw, 'I' never thought of the 910S (3614) as a "small" filter. Perhaps compared to the 820S, somewhat smaller but still decent size. And when it comes to post use anecdotes posted, in my observation 910S has looked consistently better. Now, 6607/4967 are small filters.
