Motorcraft FL-500-S cut open

Same batch as the others I've posted here. ~3700 miles on the oil (5k Changes on a Hybrid). Oil is Valvoline Restore and Protect.

Nothing notable to report. Still have a few more of these to run through before the next brand.

Date code on the dome? Most likely has louvers in the center tube ...how do they look?

No date code off of this can since I douche the whole area down with brake cleaner and that date just jumps right off the can, but here is a pic of one I have on the shelf that was in the same order.

Date code part is 050625 = May 6, 2025. Louvers look good.

I didn't take as many pics of this filter, and I didn't want to start a new thread since there isn't much to see/report. But this is the FL500S from today's OC. Roughly 3000 engine miles on this run, and its a hybrid, so tons of stop/start.

I didn't get a ton of pics that turned out, I was in a hurry and I'm beat after working a 12.5 hour shift last night, but there's nothing really different from the pics that are at the start of this thread. Just another normal FL500S with no real issues to report.


This first pic isn't demonstrating anything, I just wanted a pic of the ADBV and I'd already bumped it from its position. It was correctly installed in the filter.
