Motorcraft is back for good at northern VA Wal-Marts, with the spanking new price of $1.88!

Same here in Centerville, Ohio. Was at Walmart yesterday and saw MC 5W-20 and 5w30 on the shelf for $1.88, but no MC filters.

I wonder why Walmart doesn't stock Havoline 5W-20? They stock every other manufacturer's 20-weight. Hmmmmmmmmmm

Well, what convinces you of this as a permanent thing? Suppose that MC will be offered at only the Walmarts that suffered losses in throughput with it being removed ..forcing cosumers to take their business elsewhere instead of accepting what Wally's was offering

What would be a dead give away would be the lot # off of the current stock. If it's anything with an 05 on it ..it more than likely isn't dusty stock from another store.

Wally's doesn't leave anything hanging around. In the Pottstown store ..if it's discontinued ..it's marked down. I bought MC 5w-20 for $0.50/quart (kick myself for not buying the other 3 cases instead of just 20 quarts). They had 6 quarts of DexIII for $0.75/quart that I passed on in my last visit.

No sign of Motorcraft oil or filters at Walmart in North Jersey as of yesterday. Once I use my 2 cases up I'll try something else. Especially if I can get Havoline 5W-20 for $1.14/qt on frequent sales
