what is the opinion of the group on Motorcraft 5w20 for year round protection in a 2008 F150 4.2 V6?

I'm running Motorcraft 5w20 in my 2007 Tacoma V6 4.0L and the truck has never run better! I've run everything from Mobil 1, Royal Purple, Castrol GTX, Syntec, Pennzoil conventional and others in 5w30. I have 62k on the truck and Motorcraft 5w20 keeps the engine quiet and smooth. I'll get a used oil analysis up after this run. By the way, I also run the Motorcraft FL400S in my Tacoma due it's excellent bypass valve. So, I guess I'm saying that I agree with Johnny and you have made a great choice.

G/f's 07 Nitro with the 3.7 has enjoyed several 5k rounds of the MC 5w20 juice. Although, the first OCI with PP was just performed and is a reported "smoother feel." I have no data to substantiate this claim as of yet.

Great choice and I'd match it with a Motorcraft filter for a Ford. You can do the research, but there are some threads on BITOG with great info on how the design of the filter to Ford specs brings about great results.
More info than I wanted to know.

Great oil. When looking at what's out there at that price point, I think MC, YB, and QS. I'd take any of them, but MC is really a great value considering it's a blend.

MC filters are tops as well.

I spent a lot of time browsing this forum when looking for an oil for my 5.7L Tundra, and Motorcraft appeared to be a great choice based on used oil analysis that I searched.
