OK so this last post is new oil? I don't understand their comments of "Upper Critical" for things that are additives, not wear metals. Moly 145 upper critical? What? That's a fine dose of Moly.

Maybe they are used to analyzing diesel oil. You might want to tell them that this is SN oil, not CK-4 or CI-4.

I think they updated the test to reflect the specs for the new unused base oil sample I provided for a reference.

Not sure if it could still be flushing the additive solution from the previous oil change.

it is possible that the rod bearings, and other engine parts are pre-lubed with with some of these additives, not sure where it would be coming from if it isn't supposed to be in the oil to begin with.

thats a serious amount of fuel, if correct. Definitely warrants a recheck after a similar mileage run, just for comparison. Definitely try pulling a sample after a good drive or on a cold engine where warm up / idle fuel won't be screwing the data.

I contacted the lab that done the testing.

They used the wrong baseline oil as a reference, & instead was using a Petro Canada Hydraulic oil.

I updated to remove the Critical warnings that showed for the anti wear additives.

I am not sure why they are now showing Upper Critical with numbers that are quite similar to Fluid Life sample report.

Fluid life didn't have a new baseline sample to compare to either for first oil analysis so maybe that is why.

Wear metals have decreased by a fair bit, but they are still saying unacceptable fuel dilution. Not sure if they have different fuel dilution test methods, as Fluid life is unacceptable after 4.99% Oil was replaced with Canadian Tire Formula 1 Synthetic 5W-30, & Baldwin Filter

Oil was factory installed Motorcraft, which may be Conoco Phillips, but I cant confirm for sure what oil is installed at the Dearborn facility. Filter Was factory Ford installed FoMoCo AA5E 6714 DA (FL500-S)
