Just announced a few days ago.
I am not sure Toyota completely resolved supply chain problems. They will sell a lot if they can make them.
They haven't.I am not sure Toyota completely resolved supply chain problems.
I know, last year it was absolute mess with their orders. I think around 09/22 they sold less Sienna’s than 01-09/21. Not sure did they caught up until the end of the year, but they had serious struggles, probably most difficult issues in industry. They haven't.
Hybrids use considerably more microchips than other non-hybrid vehicles. Since Toyota has gradually shifted production to manufacture more hybrids, they have run into problems obtaining enough microchips to meet demand.
They still haven't caught up on Siennas or plug-in hybrids, not even close, and there are still waiting lists on the other hybrid models as well (although a bit shorter). Toyota isn't alone on having hybrid waiting lists, all of the other manufacturers that are offering them also have waiting lists. I heard that it is down to 6 months on the Maverick.I know, last year it was absolute mess with their orders. I think around 09/22 they sold less Sienna’s than 01-09/21. They're EPA rated up to 57 mpg now? Holy cow!
At $30k it looks like a bargain to me, especially now that they aren't so ugly.
