Most long lasting key fob battery brand ?

Energizer 2032. I don't think I've ever used a different brand, and I don't think I've ever had one die.

I replaced both of my fob batteries with a 2 pack right after I bought this current 2018 (used) F150, that was 3 years ago. My daily still starts the truck from at least 100 feet away though a concrete wall and aluminum dock doors.

I will try to remember to buy another 2 pack soon, because I will admit that I'm more worried about corrosion than I am the battery dying.

I think Ford comes with Energizers installed, though I might be wrong. I often am. I am a BITOG exhspert that way.

Go with Energizer. Stay away from Duracell which eventually leak.
I have used many Duracell batteries in the past and NEVER had a leak....I think that any name brand will work just fine...No need to overthink this....

36 cents for a Toshiba on Ebay in sets of ten. Can't beat that for just one locally.

Japanese brand, price is right, but these are from China and are possibly knockoffs.
Yep...every battery in the ten pack of the Toshiba 2032 batteries that I bought from eBay tested at 2.86 volts instead of 3.0 volts when new. They had an expiration date of 2029, but are likely counterfeit. The first two Toshibas died after ~4 months in the key fobs, so I bought Energizer 2032s instead and threw away the fake Toshibas.

I've never had a 2032 leak, only AA Alkalines
Agreed. I don’t think these button batteries leaking is even close to a common issue. Never heard of it happening and suspect the post is conflating with lower end triple a, double, c and d cells and other batteries that are prone to leaking. Is there even something liquid inside lithium ion batteries?

The only button size batteries I have ever seen leaking were LR44 batteries. However, LR44 batteries are constructed with alkaline chemistry, not lithium ion, so that is not surprising.

10 years on the battery in my car key fob, and going
17 years of Panasonic on a Toyota Matrix, then I pulled that 2032 out to replace a crappy KTS or something "made in Japan" garbage CMOS battery in an Acer. KTS might be made in Japan, but it's spec'd to SUCK.

Not sure what brand batt I have in Kia fobs but both are used basically daily past 10+ years and are still original.
I'd say anything brand name Japan or Swiss made.

I have had good luck with both Duracell and Energizer. I once tried using a Sunbeam battery that I bought from a dollar store and even though it was fresh stock, it only lasted six months! Never again did I cheap out on my fob batteries

Renata is a well-respected maker of button cells for watches and hearing aids. If they make a 2032 I would give it a try.
Who sells them that are genuine RENATA Swiss made? I could never find a source that sold the real ones I could trust. All the Ebay and even Amazon listings are sold by third party sellers and about all counterfeit.

I bought some of the Renata watch batteries from Amazon three weeks ago. It was sold by Premium Batteries USA and all the batteries were genuine Swiss manufactured Renata cells that tested fresh at 3.18 volts. So I can vouch for that seller based upon my very recent experience.
