Most long lasting key fob battery brand ?

I bought some of the Renata watch batteries from Amazon three weeks ago. It was sold by Premium Batteries USA and all the batteries were genuine Swiss manufactured Renata cells that tested fresh at 3.18 volts. So I can vouch for that seller based upon my very recent experience.
Thanks, I will look for that seller.

Just been burned buying the 377 size batteries for my watches that usually will get 3 years of life out of good battery but I have been taken about 3X buying so called RENATA batteries that maybe last 1 to 1.5 years and then go t!ts up.

While the batteries I received were genuine Swiss made Renata cells, I can't attest to their lifespan since I have never used Renata batteries before. The Energizer battery I removed from the watch lasted ~4 years, so it will be interesting to compare that against the lifespan of the Renata battery.

Hmmm, looking at the fine print, it looks like the CR-2025 and 2032 size Renata batteries are now made in China. Other sizes are still manufactured in Switzerland.

I used to browse thru posts at a Seiko/Citizen watch forum ~2018. Back then, Renata batteries had a reputation of being leakers, some while still providing power. There remains some anecdotal evidence and fear.

Currently, trusted battery brand consensus appears to be Energizer and Duracel, in that order.

I've been using Energizer for watches and fobs for quite a while. The last Renata batteries I installed were in my Mitutoyo measuring tools; battery life wasn't that great.
