My sister brought up one that I had forgotten in the late 60's. They had Man from glad showing Glad Bag superiority. We were watching tv and the Glad man came along when a woman ripped her trash bag.
He said "Calling all you mother flunkers." Did not air long.

My newest annoying one is AIG where the father is tucking his daughter into bed and goes on and on and on about their secure financial future.

I don't understand the Onstar commercial where the lady drives off the road and the firefighter rescue guy approaches her and she asks if her son is ok and the firefighter assures her that the son ok. I assume her son is in the car with her. If he's old enough, she could just ask him herself and if he's too young for that, I'd assume he'd cry or make other noises but since the son is silent, I'm worried he's not really fine. And it also seems like there are numerous rescue vehicles on site and they've closed the road to traffic before anyone checked on her.

Playing to fear to get yo to buy a service. Pretty low.

What's up with that rescue guys accent - was this a Made in Canada ad ?
Or Pacific NW?

Sounds northeastern. Even though I'm from NJ, I have a tough time differentiating between Brooklyn and Boston sometimes. I can't tell which the rescuer has.

It’s just a commercial. They pay big dollars and say what they want in allotted time to get more customers. It isn’t a real crash scene to analyze and pick apart this and that.
I’d like to know what is wrong with the 7’2” Dikembe Mutombo retired NBA player swatting grocery boxes in a grocery store as if he is blocking shots on the court? And why this was called disgusting and not for children to see?

Ok I just seen a Domino's pizza commercial and they have brought back the Noid, what's it been 30 years, not sure how I feel about that.

Or the nostalgia hit from other restaurant brands. Pizza Hut being one of them. The old logo and the Book It thing kids did in elementary school. The eat-in restaurants are long gone though.
