Bad commercials are nothing new. Remember Mr. Whipple? Stalked customers who squeezed the Charmin but went into a perverted state when he squeezed it himself. Creepy. Like Aredeeem said though, it stuck with you like a bad dream.

I rarely watch tv since I'm busy and but when I do it’s Pawn Stars or Spongebob and I can’t remember the last commercial I seen from watching either of those channels. The insurance ones are always annoying so is the Aflac one with the duck if that is still on.

I have been trying to find one commercial I seen as a kid back in probably 2006 or 2007 where the guy somehow ended up in the trash can and got put in the trash truck when they were picking it up. I can remember what the guy looked like and that the trash can was green. I can’t remember what in the world it was for or from but it kills me not being able to find it .

Typically only watch evening/night time programs. We record EVERYTHING we like to watch. Get to skip right through commercials. But the ones I can’t stand are all the drug commercials and (in my area) all the online gambling site commercials. In the evenings it’s nothing but that stuff. There will be one right after the other sometimes. Jamie Foxx is the spokesman in one of them. Not sure why. Must be gettin’ paid!

I hate the emu insurance commercial....I would never consider the ins because the commercial is so stupid.

Hehe... we've been watching Psych, trying to get through it before it falls off Netflix. Own the complete series of MASH on DVD, so no commercials there.

I record everything just so I can FF thru them.

I think some of the best commercials are Subaru with the dog family. My fav is when the family is stopped at an intersection and the poodle crosses the street and the mom dog growls at the dad dog, the other good one is the postal truck driving by.

The companies that put out those commercials are are not affiliated with Medicare, an insurance company or agency at all. They are simply a lead generation company running ads that sell your information to agencies that solicit insurance during the annual enrollment period. Although the enrollment period is over, people on Medicaid can change their plan when ever they want, that's how they get away with it. Those just inquiring will have their information sold, over and over and over, the calls and marketing will never end. I would recommend never calling any phone number on TV for anything to do with insurance, EVER.

I had ATT uverse...when it went up to over 200 a month I cut the cable.....yep back to the 70's and the antenna.....I did sign up for the utube tv stuff....well my girl friend did .....she pays 55 a month for it.

I'm starting to remember the commercial that irritates me. It's for a car repair. The car is in the shop and the owner guy is talking to the repair women via some high technology communications thing where she's explaining it's the head gasket as the guy suspected but instead was the manifold gasket.
