I've seen some links in the past to vendors that sell sub micron MoS2 powder in bulk (100g to 1 lb). By any chance, does anyone still have any of these links filed or bookmarked??

I would absolutely stay away from it, citing the lack of ability to make these powder colloidally suspended in oil.

Regarding the Moly4oil, it's probably not as great as Liqui Moly, though the one thing that's better, is that you can put it in diff gear oil without diluting gear lube with motor oil stuff like liquimoly.

Rosemill industries, google them. They sell powdered moly to different companies which is added to oil, and will safely pass through a filter. I had a very good discussion with them and based on that have no problems with UF moly in oil.

You're welcome! I've bought moly from Rosemill, and coated bullets with it. I mixed it into oil and used it in a mower as well, no problems. I found buying Lubro Moly was easier for adding to an engine then mixing my own.
I'd think rosemill's super fine grade might be just fine and would probably go through oil filters (avg particle size 1.5 microns), and I even suspect that moly4 oil could be using that same grade possibly. A 1 lb batch for ~$50 would go a long long ways; I don't think I'd ever ever use it up.
