mos2 case quantity?

Anyone know how many cans of mos2 come in a case?

I have been getting it a can or two at a time. My local napa is 20 miles away, so I'm tossing around the idea of just getting a case. since lubro moly products and napa platinium is the only reason I go to napa.
 
i just don't understand why you all cont. to use a mos2 moly when i saw what happens to it in the oil!!! whiteish -grayish goop on the bottom of the pan and in the filter!!

I took a clear bottle and put in mos2 oil mix. I let it sit a month and i saw almost no dropout, what little was there went right back into suspension when i turned the bottle up by hand, with out shaking. I'm not worried about it dropping out after that.

Same here, very little fallout, especially if the vehicle is driven daily. Even if it isn't driven daily what little falls out of suspension quickly goes back into suspension the minute you start the engine. Also once it "plates" there is nothing to worry about.

My reason??...Because LiquiMoly has had over 40yrs to "perfect" it and because my car constantly reminds me that its $5 well spent.

Most people that have used LM Mos2 don't notice settling or any sediment in the oil filter. Many people have tried it, haven't heard of a failure before. Also, for $5, it's an easy choice for me.

same here, except, when removing pan and seeing the stuff but that was torco mpz...knowing that it is possible with a mos2 moly ,i still would not use the inorganic moly..just my opinion

I don't know what you are talking about, at least not when it comes to MOS2.
I have a 1998 Camry 3.0L V/6 (the notorious sludge engine). I have used Mobil 1 10w30 and MOS2 since the first oil change. The car has been driven roughly 10k miles per year and I changed the oil & filter every 6 months (because of short trips and stop & go driving). I used a full can of MOS2 at the first oil change and every 30k miles, 1/2 can at every oil change between. I pulled the oil pan and valve covers at 120k miles to replace leaking gaskets. The inside of the engine and the bottom of the oil pan were CLEAN, NO sludge and NO gunk! The engine still runs like a top... smooth, quiet, and strong. It runs as good as the day I bought it and it uses virtually no oil between changes. There is no doubt in my mind that the car will go at least 300k miles.
Is Mobil 1 excellent oil? Yep! Is MOS2 an excellent additive? IMHO, Yep!

Its the oil, not the additive. Mobil 1 is close to the best available.

Keep doing what you're doing, it's obviously working. I agree that Mos2 is a good additive, Moly is proven in oil use.

Do you by chance keep track of your mpg at all? Just pure curiousity, the rating is 17/25(city/hwy), assuming of course that it's an automatic.
 
I have checked the gas mileage from time to time and it has always averaged about 18.4 mpg with mostly in-town stop-and-go driving and the A/C running most of the time. I have gotten as high as 28.6 mpg on the highway (A/C running, 70+ mph). The MPG goes down a little when it gets cold in the winter and it has dropped a little since E10 gas was mandated here, but it has always gotten over 17 mpg in the city.
I started using M1 back in the mid 80's when I had a Mazda 323. The 1.6L engine in that car was a well known sludger. Mazda later recalled the 323's to fix a PCV system problem that was causing them to sludge. When they did the recall I had them pull the valve cover to see if mine had any sludge in it and it was clean. The mechanics were amazed. I have been a loyal M1 user ever since.
BTW, I have never had any kind of fuel injection system cleaning done. I just use top tier regular gas and once a year I run a tank of premium gas with a bottle of Techron through it just prior to my fall oil change.
