More Kelly tires at BJ’s

Local BJ’s deal on Kelly’s is buy three get one free plus if bought today free installation. Daily driver 07 R400H tires are 7 years old and showing micro cracks and hard as rocks. I think it’s due.
Thoughts?

There is nothing inherently wrong with Kelly tires.

It's good to see a less-expensive option at those paid membership warehouse stores. BJ, Sam, and Costco usually only have expensive name-brand tires

My Pilot came with brand new Kelly Edge and they lasted only 22k miles and had poor winter traction . Decent otherwise.

At least the 17-inch tires are cheaper than the OP's 18's. For example, you can get all-weather tires under $100 each, which is impossible in the OP's 18" size

Current deal is about $700 all in, mounted, balanced, and disposal of the old ones. Scheduled for the 4th. About $100 more than the weekend deal.

The Kelly tires I have are USA made. I believe they are a Goodyear brand now.

I have a set of Kelly Edge Touring A/S on out 2021 Traverse. They were on the Traverse when we bought it used. They've been great.

Also have a set of Kelly Winter Access snows for my 2016 Malibu. They were a bargain on Amazon a few years ago.

A friend of mine had Kelly edge all seasons on her Camry which I take care of. They were to the wear bars at 45k miles, but at 45k they still handled well, never needed rebalance, and still held the road quite well when wet. Any tire that keeps wet handling to 45k is gold in my book - most of my “60k” tires begin losing or have lost wet grip at half that, and when that happens I’m prone to replace them early. Since I have only had one set of Goodyears demonstrate long lasting wet performance, a model they sadly discontinued way too soon, I’m prone to believe Kelly uses a different compound than their parent company.

Small tire store here has them - farmers buy the Safari AT a bit …

My father used to buy Kelly tires for all his vehicles. Never had any problems. Now I realize how good the Kelly's were considering the horrendous roads where we used to live. This was prior to Goodyear acquiring Kelly.
