Molyslip ATS – Automatic Transmission Supplement

Molyslip ATS – Automatic Transmission Supplement.
Has anyone used this in your Auto Transmission.
Would it be safe in my two vehicles Auto Trans.

I wouldn't use sort of ATF additive because auto trannies require very specific frictional characteristics and if you change those characteristics with an additive, you may be asking for trouble. I would make 100% sure that it doesn't contain moly as this would cause problems.

The only additive I would use in a transmission for full time use would be one of the Lubegard transmission additives.

well I currently have MolySlip E in the engine and MolySlip ATS in the tranny. All I can say is Wow, I cant even feel the shifts now its so smooth idle is better and my fuel mileage is much better.
As long as everything goes well MolySlip has gained a customer for life.

How long have you been using the MolySlip E in the engine?

I've been running MOS2 along with some graphite in my auto-tranny without any problems, quite the opposite in fact.
ATF are friction modified to have a low coefficient of friction at low contact speed.
This way, the shifts are smooth. However, these friction modifiers "wear out" quite quickly. This is why the shiffting is more " brutal" in an old fluid and everything is sooo smooth when you just had a fuid change.
By adding somme frictions modifiers, my tranny is smoother for much longer and will wear out less. Sounds like a win-win to me.

I haven't use Molyslip ATS but IMO, this is worth a try.

I have used the molyslip ATS before - some comments
great stuff in the summer - not alot of slip from the trans - the car seemed to get up to speed much quicker?

however, in the cold Canadian winter for short trips it felt like the car had the parking brake left on - ATS is VERY think stuff - and I think cold temps just compound this. This really killed my already crummy winter gas mileage.
After 20-30 mins of driving everything would shift fine. Short drives this would rarely happen.

If I lived in a hot climate- year round - I would use it all the time -
Because of the extreme cold I decided it was not worth the hassle -
