Thoughts on Liqui-Moly? I am thinking about giving their motor oil a try. I have always used Mobil and Motul, but would like a third choice.

I wonder if that is due to the shorter OCI culture that has been the norm for years in the US.
Actually at the prices you pay i don't blame your to be honest.

I honestly think if the US started doing things the European way in a few areas the US economy would benefit.
Like the domestic car market moving over to turbo diesel vehicles to save fuel cost and everybody started using Amsoil or similar to push those OCI and saving all the conventional oil getting thrown away every 3k/3 months.
The spare disposable in one could then be directed to other sections of the retail sector and therefore bringing growth to people other than the Oil Companies.
Just a thought.
After all 50mpg (whAt my high mile 2008 Volvo gives) is better than the 30mpg you would get from a similar petrol engined V50.
Though I do like the Australian way to reduce fuel spend.
I believe vehicle gas conversions are fairly popular and I think are compulsory of petrol engined Taxis is some Cities.
Anyway, I have digressed enough, just throwing ideas out there for discussion.

Meguin plant? Is that a good or bad thing? Still not much being said about how their oil compares to the two oils Im currently using.

An odd thing to me is that Liqui Moly oil usually doesn't contain any of their Liqui Moly [Lubro Moly] product!

Do ANY of LM's oils, on either side of the pond, contain their Ceratec boron nitride additive??

Not that I have seen. I know they make a 10w-40 with mos2 already mixed in. I don't know if there are others with mos2 in them.

Even though he hates the LM MOS2 anyway, I believe he was referring to ENGINE oils, and NOT additives, as Motul does NOT make a separate additive that I know of.
