The Kitchen faucet was leaking so I figured I needed a new cartridge. So I bought one....now I have no Cold water. I've taken it apart several times and still no Cold water. Any ideas ?
A month or so ago I went to HD when our one remaining original Moen faucet developed a bad leak. The replacement cartridges were listed @ c. C$30, but I checked with the plumbing specialist who said there was a lifetime warranty on them, and gave me a free one.
No cold water? Weird. Have you tried swapping the old cartridge back in? Is it possible the cold valve is still shut off?
Pull the cartridge, leave it open and turn on the cold shutoff valve just a little... get cold water? Then the problem is the cartridge. Make sure it is free from packaging material, not upside down or rotated, compare to old cartridge, etc. etc.

IIRC, you need to pull the cartridge out and turn it 180 degrees then reinsert. The orientation is off by that much. Moen has a life time warranty. I contacted them a couple of years ago and got 2 replacements free with free shipping.
Speaking from personal experience, you installed it 'backwards' or rotated incorrectly. Simple fix.... You probably did like I did and missed the step in the instructions where they tell you to note the orientation or the cartridge before pulling it out.
Did you buy actual Moen replacement parts or aftermarket parts for a Moen?
I used some aftermarket parts from Home Depot that were for my Delta faucet. They didn't work well. Not realizing that Delta customer support will send me/you/us actual Delts replacement parts for FREE.

Exactly! Had the same issue with my first cartridge install (cold water) but correct orientation solved it.
Call Moen or seek out an OEM Moen cartridge from a plumbing supply house. You might need the special tool to pull it out of the body.
Also, some Moens do use a quick-connect hose assembly that looks like a Ford or GM fuel line connect(it's from the same supplier too, Cooper Standard). Make sure that's in good shape as well.
I know I'm bumping this thread, but I have to give another shoutout to Moen.
We've been in our house for 20 years now and the original Moen shower faucet handles are still installed. I called Moen about 10 years ago because both were leaking and they sent free replacement cartridges as part of their lifetime warranty.
Fast forward to today and I have one of the two leaking again. I called Moen first thing this morning. They still had me in their system, as well as the model of my faucet handle. The rep is sending out two more cartridges free of charge. These cartridges are 50 bucks a piece at Home Depot.
No hassle, no fuss, no arguing with the rep. Phone call took no more than three minutes. Can't beat that type of service.
