IDK about others, but I have recently seen a fair number of threads about electronics/audio/video/mp3 players/TVs/antennas/car audio etc, cropping up in the OT section.
A while ago (1-2 yrs ago i think) I suggested having a separate AV/electronics/Entertainment section but the idea got shot down due to lack of interest. With the media technologies becoming more and more abundant in entertainment, I really think having a section dedicated to electronics/cell phones/media hardware etc is prudent. Some people post these things in the computer section, but IMO they're not the same thing. The questions/posts are often too specific to be in "OT"/General section. I also saw a lot of posts about movies/music etc.
If we have a section for Electronics/AV/Music/Movies discussions, I really think it would benefit a lot of us.
I was also the 1st to suggest the Computer section, and IMO it has become a great resource for all of us, and there's a lot of posting going on there.
Hope the mods re-consider this.
