I have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, (3.3L engine) I see Walmart has MOPAR filters, but am unsure of the number I need. I believe the box shows 00-5890 or something. Does anyone know what filter I would need for the Mopar and I believe the Wix is 51348. I was just deciding if I should go with the Mopar or go with Wix. Isn't the Mopar a redo of Purolator?

I've only seen one offering at WM in the MOPAR label. It fits just about everything that Dodge/jeep/Chrysler has in the 3/4-16 thread.

Thanks Gary, I saw some of that too, but I'm not that great on filters. I do see both list compatible, however when I do the search it shows the one only. I know you know your stuff, so between these two WIX filters, which is the better choice? Any ideas? The one is quite a bit larger for out diameter, etc.

I don't have an aftermarket MOPAR catalog to give you the # you would find on the boxes at Wal-Mart( sorry ). The OE# from MOPAR/Dodge however, for a 2007 GC w/ 3.3L from the 07 Application guide is 05281090. You could open the boxes and see if this number is on any of the filters at Wal-Mart?

This fiilter crosses over to a Wix 51085. By application Wix lists a 51348. Overall the filter spec's on the 2 Wix filters are the same except for a slight difference in size and base gasket diameter as Gary posted above for you. I believe either would work.

The Mopar Filters WalMart has, is the filter for your vehicle. The part number on the box is M0-090.
