Been using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-40 and Mopar SRT oil filter 5038041AA, which I believe is a WIX made in Poland. 6 month or 6,000 miles intervals with that combo. Want to run HPL Super Car 0w40 and looking to potentially go 1 year+ and 6,000+ (depending on analysis, etc.).

What are some good filters given today's issues? Been following threads and what I thought might be good isn't. Champ XL? Hard to decide. Appreciate any help.

Any premium guard. This includes Carquest, premium micro guard select and some STPXL models please look up Carquest premium 84502 C&P to see my many posts of perfection after 12k miles with HPL.

2nd vote for anything PGI. My O'Reilly's has a sale with a 5 qt jug of Valvoline Restore and Protect and a Microgard Select for $39, just bought some today

My preferred choice FULL Long Life OES Brand for the out of warranty vehicle. OEM for the warranty vehicle. Since I never had issues with Fram or WIX, I would be fine using them a long with AC Delco or Super Tech filters. No brand endorses or sends me free filters so I am not brand loyal.

My personal 'top 3' actually only '3' I would use in order; OEM, Mahle/Mann & Hummel-Euro/Hengst and MicroGuard Select.

Echoing the OEM or Premium Guard votes. In a pinch, Supertech seems fine also.

Been a Fram guy for a while and last OC I switched both cars over to O'Reilley's Microguard filters. Planning on going with Premium guard or Advanced Auto Carquest Premium filters next OC.

I’m sold on the Premium Guards. Been running the Carquest Premiums and now the STP XLs since they went to Premium Guard.
