Mobile Special

Just saw this at my local Target after they cleared out the other oils they had. This Mobil Special is taking over all the spaces. Its $2.99 a quart.

So now Mobil has in:
Regular: Special, Super 5000, SuperSyn, M1, and Mobil 1 Extended Performance
HiMilage: Super HM, Mobil 1 High Mileage

"Special" is a rehash of a branding they used years ago; most likely a misnomer.

Ahhhh!!! So that's why they cleared out Shell and Pennzoil! I was wondering what was up with that. Oh well, I bought enough Shell and Pennzoil from their clearance sale to take me the next couple of years.

I'll have to check my store next time I am there but I thought it was 2.59 or 2.49 a qt. 2.99 is a bit high for that in my mind.

Yeah it was $2.49 a quart at one of the Targets I struck out...

looking for Formula Shell or Pennzoil conventional at clearance.
