Mobil Super Syn vs Quaker State Ultimate Durability re:pricing

With Mobil having such a strong following with their synthetics I wont be surprised if this MSS is a big hit. Im sure it will destroy Quaker State Ultimate Durability in sales. I can only imagine that this is a decent group III. If the new Mobil Super 5000 is any indication, I suspect that it has less everything and has a stronger shot of titanium than Mobil Super 5000. If you guys have seen the VOA posted of Mobil Super 5000 you know what Im talking about. Ill still stick with SOPUS thanks.

Pretty much the same except the vi for Quaker State Ultimate Durability is 168 Mobil 158 some conventional alot for that matter, have higher vi than 158. Seeing how they changed the 5k conventional oil I would hold off trying this oil until you see if they dropped moly,, boron and added sodium, reduce the ammount of patato chips in the bag to meet $19.

I finally saw the Mobil super syn today at Meijers. $5.19 a quart, no big jugs avaialable yet. Priced about a dollar less than the Mobil 1 synthetic quarts.

The oil companies have apparently decided that multiple synthetic tiers is the way to go.

Forget Mobil and Quaker State Ultimate Durability.. This chevron Supreme is underrated and sleeper oil.. Just try your next oil change with Chevron Supreme conventional GF-5/SN.. You will be very happy. It is an excellent oil..

I paid $1.83 a quart at costco with the coupon.

Ironically, PU has been $2 cheaper than PP in the 5 litre jug at my local Walmarts, and has been since Christmas. They have even moved it right beside the Mobil 1 instead of having it alongside the other SOPUS products.

As of yesterday, my local Wal-Mart doesn't have PU. They weren't sold out as there was no shelf space for it (no price tag anywhere). Go figure.
