Mobil Clean

took my truck to a Mobil oil change facility and asked for conventional. they gave me Mobil Clean. Not Mobil Super 5000.
Is plain ole Mobil Clean as good as Pennzoil Conventional or Valvoline, Castrol GTX, etc...??
I wonder why the other major brands don't have a line of oil below their common conventional oils the way EOM does?

Actually mobil clean was the predecessor to mobil super. they were probably just using up their old stock before they started using mobil super.

MC 5K=good stuff, I've heard it was relabeled by Toyota as their dino (not sure if it's still the case now).

Mobil Clean is similar to MC5k but I think it has 16% less cleaners. Does anybody remember the old Mobil site with the difference between bulk Mobil Clean and MC5k?

If memory still serves, MC is the same as Exxon Superflo. And MC5k is a little better.

I'm pretty sure other makers have different bulk oil specs so that they can supply "cheaper" oil to quick lubes.

Mobil Clean is probably similar in nature to Mobil Special (available at Target.)

I saw a new Mobil special oil at target royal blue bottle it only meets GF5 and not the Gm6094

see web link, Mobil clean is a current oil that is SN/Energy resource conserving only available in bulk at oil change facilities I believe I seen it somewhere on the mobil site at 4k or 4 months, this oil is not a new offering by mobil it has been updated to the new certification standards.
