very good point about re-using a better filter. and as long as im buying the filters for her there is no reason not to do this.. but ultimately its going to be her decision as its her van, I just ask what she want me to do and then change it/do it.. ALSO off topic i got a oil filter wrench that looks like a big set of pliers from HF last weekend and tried them out on this oil change.. friggen sweeeeet ! the hands down best filter wrench ive ever used. worth every penny i gave (under $10.00) at HF.

Mobil Super is simply the best value for a conventional oil, for the few cars that still allow for the use of conventional oils. There is no reason to spend more for another name-brand conventional oil - Mobil Super 5000 meets all of the latest API/ILSAC specifications and is made by a very reputable manufacturer. At the $12.97/jug, it simply cannot be beat.

Not my van, her call on when it gets changed (and when im available). and its probably a $1,000 van on a good day. yes im deffinately in the "thrill of the hunt camp" no denying that.. some folks cut coupons, or stay up all night for Black Friday deals.. I hunt oil.

funny you mentioned this, i have a BIG wine bottle that serves as a adult at home piggy bank. I never use change, i always break bills to creat change and at the end of the day put the change into this jar/bottle.. why ? why not, for the curiousity of "wonder how much i got in there"
last year i had over $400 in that sucker.. I was completely blown away.. off topic i know, just felt like sharing.
