I have a 00 Eclipse gt with 110k on it. I had put in Mobil 1 10w30 the other day. I have noticed when I stop or leave the heat on a can smell and oil smell. I left it in there for 3k miles but it never used any. I wonder if I should have got the high milege mobil 1. Cause im pretty sure car has only had dino.

Sounds like you have an oil leak and the oil may be dripping onto hot exhaust.

I changed back over to just supertech 10w-40 and it seemed to stop it not near as bad. Anyone do any under the valve pics with supertech? I know when u go to walmart the sell the [censored] out of it.

Go with the Mobil 1 High Mileage. It has a better add pack.

make sure you dont have a PCV, breather line that is loose or disconnected. You should not smell oil.

^This. The PCV popped out of the VC on my Accord and caused such a smell.
