This is my own spread sheet I have been compiling of Mobil 1 Oils and their additives:

This first pic is a guide of what all the components mean.

This is the various oils and viscosities compared:

Rotella T - MAGNESIUM Should be 1 not 1099

Thank You for the chart!

Just out of curiosity, is the 0w20 and 0w30 there the new ones being sold that have a green label advertising fuel savings and such?

I think those are the regular ones... as soon as I see a report of the green cap, I will add it on there.

I havent found those yet, I looked through 15 pages of topics regarding Mobil 1 products mostly the common ones and then went through all the threads trying to pull the most recent and valid data.

If you happen to spot those somewhere please post the link or results here and I will add those to the list.

I'd be willing to buy a quart of TDT and M1 ESP 5w40 to send off for VOA. Finding a quart of D1 ESP... not very likely.

The real antiwear compund is zinc dialkyldithiophosphate, which contains Zn, P, S, O and 4 alkyl groups.
But Zn and P are convenient measures of this.

Nice Chart! I noticed that the 10w30 HM and EP are almost exactly the same. Why pay up for the EP here.....

Haha, those are the descriptions I typed up for you a couple weeks ago when you posted a UOA question. Though you might want to fix the wear metals/calcium boxes, you got them switched around a bit, and there is no paragraph for wear metals in there. Just a helpful hint.

Thanks bud, your guide helped me understand exactly what to look at and I think it helps others too, so I will just fix those a bit and keep compiling the data in there.
Hopefully we can make a nice little user guide with the current oils for easy comparisons.

Maybe MOBIL outta pay us for that.

My guess is the EP base oil is some what differant than the HM, explaining the 15,000 mile useage target.

You must be getting your forum topics and posts mixed up; this one is about Mobil 1 not Motorcraft.

Good Day,
Steven

I threw that on a separate line for comparison purposes...

My dad uses motorcraft and I have been trying to get him to switch, thats all.
