I’m looking forward to Mobil 1 Truck and SUV High Mileage Extended Performance
Same here. On my Yota, switched from OEM 0w-16 to Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 0w20.
If regular Mobil 1 Truck and SUV is a slow mover to begin with; don’t hold your breath.I’m looking forward to Truck and SUV High Mileage Extended Performance
I'm currently running Mobil 1 Truck and SUV in my 23 Colorado ZR2. No issues and the engine seems to like it. I plan on 5K OCIs and plan on doing a used oil analysis on it next oil change.

Some time ago I heard that Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5w40 and Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5w40 are the same oil. They were simply marketed differently.

There doesn't appear to be a Mobil 1 5W-40 Truck and SUV, highest grade is 5w30
Didn't even get a chance to change oil and it blew up. At dealership at this time. Seems like an LSPI event as I was at red light then acceleration then knocking. Dealer changed oil 2k ago at 50k.

LSPI is normally associated with TGDI, while this 3.8L V6 is just DI, no turbo.
Pretty disappointing experience I expect though eh? I'm surprised they are only getting 310HP out of a 3.8L DI V6.
You have to understand that it’s marketing gamesmanship on the part of ExxonMobil.
A lot of people will be drawn in by that catchy name.
But like others have said, it has actually been tested to live up to at least some of the advertising.
I believe it’s a bit thicker with a bit higher HTHS than vanilla Mobil 1.
I agree. They have at least 10 other cases I read about. Several had gone from low rpms to passing vehicles to knock. Others would be in traffic and acceleration to side street then knock. All 2020 Frontier. At least I am driving a 25 Frontier for awhile. Do miss mine as I prefer it.

I noticed some other changes too. I think they must be still working on it. They bumped regular Mobil 1 to 15k now.
And then 10w-30 is 20,000.

Well that explains the Mobil 1 Advanced Clean not replacing Mobil 1 Extended Performance.
