Napa Mobil 1 Super Syn on special for $3.99/qt, seems like a decent deal for a full syn. Does anyone know how it stacks up against regular Mobil 1 syn or similar?

Good oil with less of an add pack then normal M1. Worth the purchase

It's not Mobil 1 Super Synthetic - it's just Mobil Super Synthetic. Interesting that most Mobil Super & Mobil Super Synthetic oils pass Chrysler MS-6395 and Mobil 1 oils don't. Some of these licensing approvals have to be getting expensive.

Ah true, my bad. Anyway, I would think it would do 10k drains on mostly highway use, but wanted to see if anyone had any reason to think it wasn't up to par for some reason.

Is there any bad product from Exxon/Mobil ?

Mobil Super Synthetic is not the same as Mobil 1 but not worse than any house brand synthetic. For OCI of 8-10k then it is okay, for longer than 10k I think I would pay few dollars more for M1 or PP or Castrol Edge ...

It might, ExxonMobil warranty is for 7500 miles or your vehicle's Max OCI which ever is longer. It is a good Synthetic but not intended for extended OCI's.

I would buy the Mobil Super but Walmart has M1 on Rollback right now, $23.88 for 5Q and $7.98 for 1Q. That ends up being a few bucks cheaper than Mobil Super $29.99 for 5Q and $7.19 for 1Q from what I can find at O'Reilly.

I think Mobil had enough of Chrysler's lubricant shenanigans, resulting mostly from it being passed around from owner to owner like a keg at a frat party. That's the only company I know of where one can get a relatively new vehicle and be faced with an ILSAC rated 10w-30, a Benz spec, or a Fiat spec. Maybe Tata can buy them next and relegate Chrysler to that ancient Ford spec, or straight to SG rated monogrades.
