Mobil 1 or FL820s for 600+ svt cobra

My oil choice is either mobil 1 ext performing 5w30 or penzoil ultra 5w30

Does SVT have a oil filter or recommend one? I would think you would want a full synthetic oil filter.

In all fairness they're probably just the same filter with different branding.

Either will be fine for a 500 mile run / year.. Motorcraft has a racing filter I would use,

Hopefully Smokey Bear will be nearby when those red light rpm's occur.

Either. Just take a peek inside with a flashlight and make sure the louvers are open. Will be a bit harder to see on the 820s.

I would vote NEITHER-the original “OG” Ultra is still commonly available in wire backed full synthetic media, as are the AAP Titanium FS2 & Walmart Endurance FE2. The Royal Purple 20-820 is similar to the Endurance, and the Ford Racing FL820 has high flow & pressure specs (but with inferior synthetic blend media).

I have mostly ran the 820s. With such little miles I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever you can buy off the shelf.

The filter won't matter unless it fails. I get my 2015 F150 twice a week with the 2.7 engine to do 0 to 100 mph and the Motorcraft filters look good during an oil change [ if that means anything.]
