in/on: 6 quarts Valvoline Extended Protection High Mileage 5w30 with carquest premium 85372 (PG with silicone gasket)

filter held up well.

If you can get one of these affordably great but there are better 20,000 mile rated filters available like the Purolator Boss. I would not run this for 20k. Thanks for the cutting these.

There is nothing wrong with that filter. It could easily have went much, much longer. With it's 20k mile rating, you could easily have went two oil changes on that filter. Mobil 1 oil filters have always looked good when cut open and shared, here on BITOG.

incorrect. two Mobil 1-212A’s have been posted torn in the last month. there will be no more mann&hummel filters going on any of our vehicles unless they’re mesh backed.

The M+H/Purolator flat bypass spring incorporation. Media must be pretty stiff for that wide pleat to not bend over some.
