Mobil 1 M1-210a oil filter cut open

in service 6000 miles

out/off: 6 quarts Valvoline Extended Protection High Mileage 5w30 with Mobil 1 M1-210a

in/on: 5 quarts Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30 and 1 quart HPL Engine Cleaner 30 with Carquest Premium 85372

filter looks okay minus the excess glue everywhere. this filter was in service for a long duration of time from before i refused purolator products.

Looks like it could be suffering from the same loose glue issue seen on the Motorcrafts ... both M+H made filters.
