Have any of you ever used the Mobil 1 #M1-210 oil filter? It is the equivalent of the Motorcraft FL820S.

I would love to hear any opinions of this filter, as I plan to use it on the second half of a 10k (one year) OCI on my wife's Expedition 4.6L.

FWIW, I'll be using the FL820S for the first 5k, since I have one in the garage.

Great filter... I have used them for years, but I now refuse to pay $12 for one. The Ford is just fine, but it's case isn't nar as beefy. The Baldwin flows and filters above average, and IS as tough as the Mobil 1 filter.

There's sooooo many good ones out there. The Wal Mart SuperTech is a GREAT filter. $2 and some change. Say you run your oil for 6000 miles. I'd much rather throw a Ford 820 after 3K, and keep things nice and fresh, than to keep the more expensive Mobil on for the entire drain.
